I couldnt tell you why im using such a lame title for this painting. A little too cliche for me but i guess not cause i posted it. It not completely finished so its not permanent. This painting is currently off getting framed and should return to me tomorrow.

    Starting out with these two pieces, i was really excited about the first composition and on the fence about this one. In the end, this one became my favorite. I like the apples better for some reason, i don’t know if they just turned our better or what. Its probably because you can actually see their curvy organic shapes to.

    Another daily painting of an amazing bell pepper i picked up at the grocery store. These guys had such great color and form i couldn’t pass them buy, and i was just going in to grab a bottle of water.

    A current trend among artist is daily painting. A simple painting created everyday. It keeps your skill honed, your mind from getting rusty and your supplies from getting dusty. Im gonna pick up this practice as soon as i can. Right now, life is all over the place, but as soon as things get into a sustainable groove i will create this habit. I love the idea and principle behind the movement and cannot wait for it to accelerate and elevate my artistic career.

    They have been around for a while make corners and random walls better looking. I finally got around to putting a varnish over the painting.

    My biggest painting yet. There is probably six layers of paintings under this final image, just couldn’t get what i wanted. Finally it broke thru to this amazing piece. I used a reference photo from the beautiful Clara McGuire. You can also find her here and on twitter. The image is a mixed media piece using oil paints, textured paper, and of course wine for the drips. I would love to sell it, however i have no idea how i would ship it…

    Well here it is… i’ve finally “finished” my website. I say “finished” because there is still a lot to do. Loads of tweaks and testing, but no time is better than the present to have it actual up on the web.
