This is where I file the stuff I didn’t learn in school, the kind of wisdom that shows up after you fall flat on your face, or finally slow down enough to hear what life’s been trying to whisper at you for years.

Life Lessons is a catch-all for the big thoughts that sneak in while doing something small. Things I’ve picked up from chopping wood, watching my kids navigate the world, or realizing (again) that I can’t control everything. Sometimes these lessons come wrapped in laughter, sometimes in frustration, and sometimes in that quiet clarity you only get after stepping away from your phone and staring at a field for a while.

This isn’t “advice,” per se, I’m not here to be anyone’s guru. But I do believe in sharing what I’ve lived through. The stumbles, the pivots, the hard-earned habits that help me live a little more like the kind of person I want to be. And hopefully, they help you think about your own story in a new way.

You’ll find reflections on identity, purpose, burnout, routines, risk, and joy. I write about how I try (and fail) to stay present. About getting older, raising kids, doing work that matters, and what it means to build a life with your own two hands.

If you’re in the middle of figuring things out, or you just like reading someone else’s attempts to do the same, welcome. This is for you.

Build with Rhythm. Lead with Love. Ship Anyway.
